AAIA Features Hunter Alignment as
Shop of Tomorrow Centerpiece
The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s Shop of Tomorrow display at the upcoming AAPEX show in Las Vegas will feature a Hunter WinAlign alignment console as the hub of the exhibit. The Shop of Tomorrow is a live demonstration of how i•SHOP Integrated Shop Standards improve work flow within the shop environment.
As a charter member of the first integrated shop standards committee in 1997, Hunter Engineering is proud of its long partnership with AAIA and the other automotive service participants who have worked together to develop the i•SHOP Integrated Shop Standards.
Hunter supports all aspects of the i•SHOP initiative from hosting annual technical committee meetings to providing WinAlign® alignment systems for research, testing and demonstration.
The i•SHOP concept of streamlining the service shop to increase productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction embodies the same ambition that drives Hunter in designing its equipment. Hunter’s WinAlign alignment system was the first to comply with i•SHOP standards and obtain certification from the AAIA.
WinAlign systems provide vehicle-specific service instructions, specifications, tools and parts information, merchandising aids, customer service recordkeeping, and other supportive software features. In accordance with i•SHOP standards, Hunter makes this wealth of information available through any network-connected shop computer, as well as the aligner for seamless integration.
This connectivity gives all shop personnel access to the same information to help a technician solve a problem in the bay, assist a service writer explaining needed repairs to a customer at the front desk, or provide management with shop performance records in the back office.
Hunter Engineering is the leader in alignment systems, wheel and tire service, brake service and inspection lane equipment. Hunter equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and service facilities around the world.
