Hunter Engineering wins three PTEN People’s Choice Awards
Hunter Engineering is proud to announce that three Hunter products were named winners in the 2024 PTEN People’s Choice Awards.
The People’s Choice Awards are voted on by readers of PTEN Magazine, following the selections made by an expert panel of judges from the PTEN Innovation Awards earlier this summer. One of Hunter’s current People’s Choice winners, Ultimate ADAS®, was also a winner of an Innovation Award.
Hunter’s 2024 PTEN People’s Choice winners are:
ADAS category: Ultimate ADAS®. Ultimate ADAS® combines standard-setting alignment technology with an efficient and easy-to-use guided target placement system for around-the-vehicle coverage. Gimbal-mounted lasers replace the inexact guesswork of strings, plumb bobs and tape measures to cut setup time by 70 percent for some procedures.
Brake service category: AutoComp Elite® Brake Lathe with HunterNet® 2 Connectivity. Hunter made its popular AutoComp Elite® on-car brake lathe even more popular by connecting it to the HunterNet® 2 platform. HunterNet® 2 is a free customer portal developed for undercar service operators with single or multiple rooftops. Shop owners and managers can view before and after cut results for rotors online, before and after runout, monitor lathe usage counts and track equipment ROI.
Lifts, jacks and stands category: RX14KL and RX16KL Scissor Alignment Lifts. Responding to a growing industry need for greater length, Hunter introduced new, longer variations of its popular RX14 and RX16 scissor alignment racks. The new models can accommodate up to 195-inch two-wheel wheelbases, adding more medium-duty vehicle capability and more runway to perform rolling compensation on crew-cab pickups and larger vans.
